The Dean of Students Office at Bethlehem University organized on Thursday, 26 November 2020, a workshop entitled “the rights of people with disabilities; the right to education and the right to health” in cooperation with the Student Affairs Unit at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The workshop comes within the framework of the “Amal” project to promote a culture of human rights and gender, in which Bethlehem University is participating.
Dean of Students Adnan Ramadan welcomed the attendees and thanked them for their participation. He stressed that human rights issues are continuous issues and are linked to human dignity.
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research representative Ayman Al-Hodaly conveyed the greetings of the Minister Dr. Mahmoud Abu Muwais to Bethlehem University and the participants, stressing that the ministry will adopt all the recommendations that will emerge from this workshop.
Two sessions were held afterward about the people with disabilities’ right to education and the people with disabilities’ right to health.
