Prof. Jamil Khader, Dean of Research and Prof. of English, participated in a webinar titled, “Challenges and Achievements of Higher Education under Occupation,” which was organized by the Palestinian American Research Center (PARC) on Wednesday, 11 November 2020.
Prof. Khader talked about the history of Bethlehem University, its mission and values, and shared a promotional view on the history of the University.
He also discussed the various challenges that Bethlehem University students and faculty deal with in their daily experiences as scholars under occupation.
The webinar was a part of the Faculty Development Seminar that PARC coordinates every year to introduce American academics to the Palestinian academia and universities.
