Master of Social Work

In order to successfully complete the application process for the MSW program, the candidate should follow the steps below:

Step 1: Buy an application package from the Office the Social Sciences Department, second floor, De La Salle Hall, at Bethlehem University. You can get the package between 10/6/2020 and 30/7/2020.  Keep the payment slip for the application fees (120 JD) to submit it with the completed package.   Application fees are non-refundable. You can also get the application online and pay through credit card please follow the link https://admission.bethlehem.edu/admissioncard/

Step 2:  Use the username and password included in the application package to log on to this site: (admission.bethlehem.edu) in order to complete the application.  Print out the completed application.

Step 3:  Please make sure that you have included all the required support documents.  Refer to the application package for a list of these documents.

Step 4:  Submit the printed application form with all the required support documents to the Office the Social Sciences Department, second floor, De La Salle Hall.  The deadline for submitting the completed application with the support documents is Friday 30th of July 2020

Step 5:  Once the application package is received, the applicant will sit for English examination to test the student’s proficiency in English on 6th, of August,2020. The exam will be at 10:00 a.m.

If you have already sat for any of the following exams: TOEIC, TOEFL or IELTS within the past two years, include a copy of your test scores in the application package. If the scores meet the criteria set by the department, the English proficiency exam will be waived by the Program Coordinator.

Step 6: the candidate will be assigned a date for an interview with the program acceptance committee . The success of the interview will determine the acceptance of the candidate into the program. Candidates are not allowed to sit for the interview without a complete application.

Step 7:  Once accepted into the program, the students should go to the Registrar’s Office to complete the registration process.

Step 8:  Tuition fees are determined on a per credit basis.  The rate is 120 JDs per credit hour.  In addition to the tuition fees, a student should pay the following fees:

  1. registration fee (40 JD) per semester
  2. computer fee (30 JD) per semester
  3. accident insurance fee (10 JD) per semester
  4. graduation fee (50 JD) last semester
  5. BU ID fee (5 JD) first semester.

All payments should be made at the Arab Bank in Jordanian Dinars.

NOTE:  All documents submitted along with the application are part of Bethlehem University records and will not be returned to the applicant under any circumstance. Please provide a certified copy of your degree and transcript.
