The Shucri Ibrahim Dabdoub Faculty of Business Administration held its annual educational Business Market from Tuesday, 30 April 2019 until Friday, 3 May 2019.
Dr. Fadi Kattan, Dean of the Faculty, said at the opening ceremony that senior students had worked for three months in groups supervised by their professors, where they negotiated with companies’ owners to get offers on their goods and prepared to publicize their projects.
Kamel Hameid, Governor of Bethlehem, praised the role of Bethlehem University in supporting its students in all fields. “I am proud to be one of the graduates of this prestigious university which is distinguished by its graduates,” he said.
He called on students to invest this opportunity positively for their future.
The Italian Consul General in Jerusalem, Federico Dimonopoli, attended the event and stressed the continuity of Italian support for Palestine, as the Italian consulate contributed to a number of projects of the Faculty of Business Administration.
Senior business students implemented their final seminar projects in a real market environment where they set up their booths and sold various products. There were 25 projects participating in the market and about 100 companies from the private sector. The market was attended by a large number of students, faculty, and staff, as well as Dr. Samir Hazboun, Director of Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
