Ghassan Salameh has walked over 160 miles on the Camino de Santiago for Bethlehem University

On May 16th, Bethlehem University Foundation Board Member, Ghassan Salameh set out on the Camino de Santiago from St. Jean, France. He has walked over 160 miles, and will walk over 500 miles by the time he reaches Santiago de Compostela, Spain, on June 27th. Ghassan has stopped in more than 13 villages along his way and he continues to share the story of Bethlehem University with people living in these villages he passes through and those pilgrims on Camino. Ghassan continues to keep all donors and supporters in his prayers.

On June 20th, over 35 supporters from around the world, including students from Bethlehem University, will join Ghassan and walk the final 100 kilometers of the Camino from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela to raise awareness for Bethlehem University and the Bethlehem University Foundation.

The Way to Bethlehem campaign has raised over $340,000 and is more than halfway towards meeting its 2018 goal of $500,000. 100% of the proceeds will go to Bethlehem University to develop and enhance its teaching facilities. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Donations up to $100,000 will be matched by a generous anonymous donor.

As a token of gratitude, donors who give $250 or more to the Campaign will receive a Bethlehem University cap and t-shirt. Those who give $1,000 or more will receive a basket of artisan goods from the Holy Land to commemorate their generous donation. Click here to contribute to The Way to Bethlehem campaign.
